View from Aksla onto Alesund

May 2006

Alesund is an important fishing harbor located south west of Norway inhabited by 60000 people. The govt. of Norway hosts an innovation conference every year in this little town. This picture is atop the Aksla hill. You can see the Art Nouveau architecture (town was rebuilt after the 1904 fire) and of course the fjords in the background.
